Your Previously Loved Bike
Tuned & Donated
to a Child in North Vancouver this Christmas

Ridgeway Bikes for Tykes Drive

December 6th 8:15am to 9:00am

Every year, James Wilson and his team at Obsession Bikes receive 100s of donated, previously-loved kids bikes from North Shore families for the Bikes for Tykes Program. The bikes are tuned and made like new for a new child to ride them. Through the work of the Christmas Bureau, these bikes (along with a brand new helmet) are given to kids in our area in time for Christmas, with the majority of recipients being identified through Family Services of the North Shore.

This is a great opportunity for the Ridgeway community to get involved and support a fantastic local initiative. As James described to the entire school during the Bike to School Week assembly back in May, his belief is that every kid deserves to experience the joy and freedom that riding a bike can provide. Not to mention all the places a bike can take us as we grow and keep riding!

This coming Friday December 6th, 8:15 am – 9:00 am, please drop off a bike that your child/children have outgrown, knowing you are helping create an amazing Christmas for some less fortunate child in our neighbourhood. Not to mention, clearing room for the next bike in your home!
